Description

An important ingredient in the skin technology is Silicon Carbonide (SiC), which is well known in nature for its strength. We used chemically synthesized SiC particles to achieve a hardness that is almost equal to diamonds. In the Teflon Profile Midcoat, the SiC particles aggregate into little clusters, forming the innovative surface texture that gives the nonstick coating and scratch resistance.
